It has been 6 months since I have had a cigarette! The first journal about quitting was here on DA and today I was wondering how long it's really been! I am so proud of myself! Funny thing, I never thought I couldn't quit, and I didn't smoke because it calmed me down, or helped me lose weight, I smoked because I enjoyed the taste of a cigarette! It was never a crutch for me. Now I have to tell you, when we go out to eat, I am surprised that there are still smoking and non-smoking sections left anywhere, but I am proud to say NON-smoking please! People have asked me if I crave them, and I think sometimes, when I do it's more out of habit, because truthfully, the smell makes me naucious! When I did smoke I was always very aware of the smoker smell! Now I can smell it a mile away! It's horrible!!
Not much new has been going on. Still searching for abandon, dilapidated buildings and houses. Did a wedding at the beginning of August. Have been working on some new creative things. Got a white back drop and a stand for it at my "studio". Been working out the kinks with that. The season is starting to slow down now, October 15th our boat will come out of the water, so we won't be traveling 2 and half hours on the weekends for the winter. This weekend, we are taking the boat to Ludington, which is about 2 hours north of Grand Haven. The water is looking beautiful today, less that 1 foot waves and it's supposed to warm right up! Can't wait to get going!!
Oh yeah, If I haven't thanked you or made contact with you for
